I have similar thoughts about going to therapy. I am constantly asking if I'm just being dramatic and worrying that my therapist will ask "why are you even here?" In the end, I'm glad I go. She reminds me not to compare my trauma to others; my feelings are valid. I don't know why that's so hard to remember.

I'm guessing that trauma itself is what makes it so hard for us to remember. Maybe one day we can remember to remember it's okay to feel our feelings. 🖤
